Using TaxDome, Our Client Portal

Introducing TaxDome
Our client portal, TaxDome, is a safe and secure hub where you can:
Share important tax documents,
Get up-to-date information on the status of your returns,
Ask questions via our secure chat,
Review your returns once they are prepared, and
Pay for our services all in one place.
Accessing TaxDome
You can access your account details at any time on desktop or mobile. A mobile app is available, we strongly recommend using it to communicate securely from your phone. if you would like to download it you can do so by clicking here:
Once you have opened the mobile app, enter your email address and password to log in. You can also access your portal from any device by going to our website and clicking TaxDome in the Client Center at the top or using this link.

Using TaxDome
General Layout
Welcome to TaxDome! Once logged in, you'll use the left-hand navigation bar to navigate through various sections:
Documents: Upload documents and view your returns here.
Chats & Tasks: Send and read secure chats, and review missing item requests.
Organizers: Access any pending tax organizers.
Proposals & ELs: Review and sign your engagement letters.
Billing: Review and pay your invoices.
Requests: Check any requests we've sent you.
Settings: Update your preferences here.
In the center, you'll see items Waiting for Action—anything that needs your attention. You'll also see the status of any active returns. On the right side, you'll find options to upload documents, send us a chat, and more.
Find Your Current or Prior Returns
Navigate to Documents on the left. Switch the slider from "Recent" to "Folders." Inside the Client Copies folder, you'll find subfolders for each year of your tax returns. Other work we've done for you will also be neatly organized in separate folders.
Uploading Documents
Uploading documents is a breeze:
Click Upload Documents on the right.
Select your documents.
Choose Client uploaded documents as the destination.
Click Add More if you have additional documents.
Hit Done Uploading when finished uploading ALL of your documents to notify our team.
Scanning Documents with Mobile App
The mobile app makes it even easier:
Log in on the mobile app.
Tap Scan at the top.
Use your phone’s camera to scan the document.
Crop or adjust as needed, then name your document.
Upload to Client uploaded documents.
Sending a Chat
To send us a chat:
Click Send chat on the right.
To respond to existing chats, go to Chats & Tasks on the left and open the relevant chat.
Respond to any tasks or missing document lists directly in the chat. Check off completed tasks on the right and monitor your progress at the top right of the chat list.
Switching Accounts
Got multiple accounts (personal and business, perhaps)? Switch between them by clicking your account name in the bottom left and selecting the desired account.
Logging Out
Ready to log out? Click the door icon with the rightward facing arrow at the bottom left.
